Research Interests
Dr. Hotchkiss is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering. His research interests include fish passage at hydraulic structures, reservoir sedimentation, and field measurements of turbulence in open channels. In addition, he teaches the following courses at Washington State University: fluid mechanics, water resources, open channel flow, stream restoration, and biological hydraulics.
